After two awesome summers in our little shop down on Spring Street, we’re excited to welcome you into our much…much bigger space on Main Street for the 2024 season.

Now about us:

We often get asked how we got into selling vintage and truth be told, it happened slowly but surely as we traveled the country and worked on the way. We always found exceptional pieces on our travels and soon began selling part-time online and at markets on the mainland.

In the back of our minds, we always wanted a physical retail shop. And MV kept coming up as the best location for us. What had started as a summer on Martha’s Vineyard in college for both of us, turned into a dream to own our own seasonal shop on this beautiful island. Once we really dove into selling vintage, our venture quickly grew to a point where we thought… Hey- this might be our chance.

So that’s what we did. We opened Island Vintage in 2021 after selling vintage for about seven years prior.

With our collective background in retail, business and education we feel like Island Vintage is the perfect thing for us. We travel the country (& occasionally the world) in the off-season to dig in any barn, shop, house, etc, that has cool stuff. We hand-select every single piece in the store, and truthfully we love every second of it. Thank you, thank you, thank you for supporting what we do and for being such an integral part to our business and lives- you guys are the real MVPs.
